Today we invited parents and carers into Year 3 and 4 to celebrate our childrens learning.
Year 4 Romero Crosses
This half term, Year 4 have been learning about sacrifice and the Christian teaching of agape. They have especially enjoyed designing their own Romero crosses, originally inspired by the Arch Bishop Oscar Romero .
Cross Country Competition
Today KS2 children competed in a cross country Competition at Astley Park.
Food Tasting in Year 5
Today in Year 5 the pupils have been tasting ingredients that we would have in our spaghetti bolognese.
Red Nose Day 2025
Today we have been raising money for Comic Relief and have raised an amazing £216.50!
Blackburn Empire Theatre Dance Competition
Today our KS2 dance team performed at Blackburn Empire Theatre. Pupils were chosen based on their passion and interest of dance or gymnastics. We worked with Petite Education to choreographer the dance who also supported in putting the routine together. Pupils then participated in the competition that was themed around inventions. Our performance was based on the concept of 'It starts with an idea!" And showed how through imagination and perseverance anything is possible.
