Over the next few weeks Gillibrand pupils will become aspiring farmers and vets as we welcome 8 baby chick eggs. We will examine them daily as they hatch and become fluffy chicks which children will handle and care for before they return back to the farm. All classes will interact with the chicks as part of their science work and our reception class will have the responsibility of caring for them on a daily basis!
