As part of their Geography lessons, year 5 have been out exploring their local area of Chorley. They have been studying the land use of our town. Over the last two weeks, pupils have visited different geographical zones of Chorley and have used different methods to record the different land uses such as tally charts and taking pictures. We have then interpreted the data to see how the land has changed throughout the past 200 years. It was lovely to see the children taking pride in our school whilst in our local community whilst becoming geographers!
