Our brand new Reception class have enjoyed their first few days at school. They are settling into our routine and making new friends. Have a look at some of the fun things they have been enjoying this week. 

Today was our first session of samba drumming! The children loved exploring the instruments and we completed our first piece of music playing the 'Name Samba'. We can't wait for our next session. 

Congratulations to our new Y1 school council representatives!

Thee candidates spoke to the class today, explaining why they should be chosen to be on the school council then each child in the class voted for who they felt would do a good job representing Y1 and here are the winners...

This week in Holly Class we have started our new Geography topic; Mapping!

We completed a pre-learning lesson about what maps are and what they are used for. We then discussed what a compass is and what the letters on the compass mean.

The Year 6 children all enjoyed their samba drumming lessons today. Julia, the teacher, commented on their good sense of rhythm. 

I can’t wait to see how much they improve over the next few weeks.

All the children in Sycamore class have made a wonderful start to the new term.  They have been enthusiastic and keen to learn.  Everyone has demonstrated a positive attitude and good behaviour.

It's been a great first week back in school. All the children have worked hard and the teachers are  very impressed with how well they have settled in their new classes.

The children have all got off to a flying start in Year 1.  I am so proud of the way they have all settled in and are working hard.  Here are some photographs from this week.

Year 2 celebrated the end of an excellent week with a story in the new outdoor classroom! The class have really worked really hard and have already produced some really good pieces of work, well done Year 2!
