Blogging day with Deputy Mitchell

Today Deputy Mitchell delivered the second part of the blogging project training. He taught in Year 5 and they produced some wonderful writing which you can see on their blog by the following this link https://gillibrandblogs.net/silverbirch2018/

Deputy Mitchell then provided training for some staff from different schools in Chorley, explaining how to take our class blogs to the next level.

Deputy Mitchell will be hosting a parents meeting at school on the 4th of December at 6 pm. During the meeting he will be explaining how blogging can have a positive impact on your child’s learning. We hope to have as many parents there as possible, the blogging project has taken off in school and both staff and children are really excited to take it further and we are eager to get as many parents involved as possible.
