Year 3 Mosque
This week Year Three and Four visited the Mosque in Chorley. Thankfully it was a beautiful morning and we set off walking for the Mosque in warm sunshine. During the visit the children learnt about the customs of the Muslim faith and were given a guided tour of the Mosque, giving them chance to learn about the Qur’an and the Arabic alphabet as well as learning about the Mosque’s prayer hall. The children also experienced listening to a prayer call and an Islamic prayer. Both children and staff learnt lots from the visit, and would like to say thank you to everyone at the Mosque who made us so welcome.
